Founded by Ramsey and Josephine Joyce more than 30 years ago, Lagoon View is a funeral home where all can attend and know that their culture will be respected. We provide full funeral services, from pre-planning to the burial or cremation. Our goal is to take away as much of your stress as possible so that you can focus on the celebration of life - let us worry about the details of organisation and paperwork so that you can spend the day simply cherishing the memories of your loved one, and see them off from this life in a hassle-free, respectful manner.

For over 35 years, Lagoon View Funeral Services has been giving families a simple, practical, affordable yet respectful alternative to the services offered by other funeral providers.

The first funeral home opened in the mid 1980’s with the vision of giving families real choice in funeral services through view-based funeral services made easy, and at affordable prices. To this day we remain true to this vision.

From our humble beginning, Our funeral directors continue to find ways to help guide you funeral services that are respectful, dignified.

When we entered the market all those years ago it was a turning point. No longer were kiwis stuck with a traditional service and the traditional price tag. We took away the restraints, redefined funerals and looked at how much they cost in a new way. kiwis embraced this new approach, this real alternative to an expensive funeral.
